Athmiya Ashrama Welfare Society

Child Vikas Foundation (CVF) supported Atmeeya Ashramam located at Obuladevarapalli (vi), near to Puttaparthi, Anantapur district, AP. We organized an event in Hindupur to extend support to Atmeeya Ashramam and bring cheers to the old age people in their last movements in life. It is a sad irony of life that many elderly are living away from their children and need economical support to live their life happily. Several amongst these are disabled, cannot find work anywhere, and are also battling various illnesses.

The CVF team spent valuable time with the inmates of the Atmeeya Ashramam, listening to the stories that they had to narrate, their experiences of life, and how they see this current phase of their life.

Expressing delight at the support extended towards the elderly, a spokesperson from Atmeeya Ashramam said that the timely support has enhanced the confidence levels of the Atmeeya Ashramam to serve more needful people.
