Child Vikas Foundation had organized Health at Kathriguppe for BBMP workers, in association with Trustwell Hospitals. As many as 100+ staff from same ward was benefited from the health camp.
The objective of conducting the health camp was to create awareness of general health among the people, provide general health care services and counselling them on basic healthcare and hygiene. The camp was organized at Kathriguppe. The camp started in the morning with an inaugural speech by CVF Staff and Sumalatha from Trustwell Hospital.
Majority of the people who attended the camp were suffering from common cold and allergies because of polluted water and lack of drainage facility. People were diagnosed with various common but seriously neglected problems such as diarrhea, cholera, acute flu and cataract in the eyes. These cases were further referred to the referral hospital, where they will be properly taken care of.
End of the health check up CVF had organized breakfast for all the BBMP staff and Hospital staff. The health camp was a huge success with overwhelming response from the local people.
