We are writing to you today with an urgent appeal on behalf of Baby Gayathri, a courageous 3-year-old girl from Mahbubnagar, Telangana (UHID NO: 55112). Gayathri, daughter of Premalatha, has been admitted to Little Star and She Hospital in Hyderabad and is currently undergoing critical treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (Blood Cancer).

Gayathri's chemotherapy treatment follows the Indian Collaborative Childhood Leukaemia Group (ICICLE) protocol and consists of two phases: an intensive phase lasting five months, followed by a two-year maintenance phase. She has already completed two chemotherapy cycles and has four more to go in the intensive phase. The estimated cost for the entire course of chemotherapy, including hospitalization, investigations, supportive care, and blood products (packed red blood cells and single donor platelets), is approximately 2 lakhs.

Gayathri's mother, Premalatha, shares her heartbreaking story: "My daughter, just 3 years old, suddenly developed a high fever and began complaining of stomach pain. What I initially thought was a common infection turned out to be a devastating diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. She has already endured so much. As a daily wage laborer and a single mother, I have exhausted all my resources and can no longer bear the cost of my daughter's vital treatment."

Little Star and She Hospital has recognized the urgency of Gayathri's case and has recommended her to the Child Vikas Foundation. We are urgently seeking your support to ensure Gayathri receives the life-saving treatment she desperately needs.
