Baby Girl.M. Nuveeksha is 2 Years female child S/o Mr. Sankara Rao with (UMR82959) was admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital Visakhapatnam. She has been diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia-Major for which she is requiring regular transfusions. Currently She needs Haplo- Identical Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation, as the baby doesn’t have a full matched donor, baby mother as a Donor with 12/9 Matched. This treatment has to be done at the earliest and is the recommended treatment for her. Post transplant, she will develop Gut-GvHD complication, which is managed and improving.

However, she has developed recurrence of Gut-GvHD complicated by Sepsis, DIC and Bleeding. she isrequiring prolonged hospital stay and treatment in the form of Immuno-modulators, antibiotics, antifungals, blood products along with nutritional support in the form of Total Parenteral Nutrition(TPN). The approximate cost of the above treatment is She requires Rs 15/- lakhs.

Nuveeksha Father Mr. Sankara Rao belongs to BPL Background located at Ramachandra Nagar, Visakhapatnam. He is a private employee with limited income. He has already exhausted all his savings and cannot pay for his daughter’s treatment.
