We have a young patient named Baby of Vanitha, a 11-month-old-baby-boy under the treatment of paediatrics. The baby is diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency and has undergone multiple admissions in our hospital. Presently, according to the treating team, child requires regular IVIG injection monthly-basis which would cost them around Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- (approximately) including hospitalization

The family hails from Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu and they consist of 6 members. The child's father is the primary source of income and he used to work in a factory, but recently lost hix job (due to taking leaves because of the continuous hospitalization of the baby). The child's mother is a homemaker and presently they are exhausted of their resources for further treatment of the baby. The family has spent more than 6 lakhs during multiple admission which included NICU and PICU care.
