Baby of Boddu Prasanna s/o Mr. Aravind is a 5 Day old male baby who entered the world fighting for his life. Baby was Born as a preterm (30+6 weeks) with a very low birth weight (1.30kg). Baby admitted in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) of Rainbow Children’s Hospital Banjara hills on 29.01.2025 with IP.NO: IP5-00152743& UHID: BAH-00614155. Baby diagnosed as preterm, very low birth weight, respiratory distress, suspected sepsis, apnea of prematurity and unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia. Baby was started on NG tube feeding which was gradually increasing.

At present Baby is on room air, IV FLUIDS, IV CAFFEINE, WARMER CARE AND ng TUBE FEEDING. In view of prematurity with very low birth weight and with above condition, the baby may require further NICU stay for 4-5 weeks and the approximate cost would be around 10- 12 lakhs.

He’s our first child after three years of our marriage. We have dreamt of starting a family since we were married and now that dream is fading away right before our eyes. As parents, we are pouring our hearts, strength, and every resource into giving him a chance at life. we would give up everything, but what we have is not enough. we find ourselves needing the kindness and support of others to help us through.
