Dear Supporter, Baby Iqra Fathima, a two-month-old girl from Rayachoty, Annammayya district, Andhra Pradesh, urgently needs your help. Born to a non-consanguineous marriage, Iqra has been battling serious health issues since birth.
Initially admitted to St. John's Hospital from December 21, 2024, to January 18, 2025, for ventricular communicating hydrocephalus, Iqra's condition recently worsened. On January 29, 2025, she was rushed to the emergency department and admitted to the PICU for life-supportive care.
Iqra is currently being treated for post-meningitis sequelae - Hydrocephalus. She has undergone surgery and requires a prolonged ICU stay, including weaning from a ventilator and a tracheostomy. The estimated cost of treatment is Rs. 5-6 lakhs, and the family has already incurred expenses of Rs. 3,44,000.
Iqra's parents, a lorry driver and a homemaker, are struggling to afford her care. With two other children, their resources are limited. They are receiving support from Iqra's maternal uncle and aunt, but their low socio-economic status makes covering the full cost of treatment extremely difficult.
We earnestly appeal to you for financial assistance in this urgent and deserving case. Your support can make a significant difference in baby Iqra's life.
Thank you for your consideration.
