Srinath, a three-year-eleven-month-old boy (UHID: BAH-00632757) admitted to Rainbow Children’s Hospital. Srinath has been diagnosed with Thalassemia Major, a condition that requires blood transfusions every 2-3 weeks to maintain his hemoglobin levels for survival and growth.
The only curative option for Srinath is a Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT). Fortunately, a sibling has been identified as a perfectly matched donor (10/10), making this life-saving procedure possible.
The estimated cost for the HSCT, which includes chemotherapy, hospitalization, investigations, stem cell collection, transplant, and comprehensive supportive care (IV antibiotics, IV antifungals, GvHD prevention & management, and nutritional support), is approximately Rs. 15-16 Lakhs. This cost may increase if unexpected complications arise. We would be happy to provide any further information you may require.
Srinath is currently very weak and in urgent need of this treatment. His parents, Mr. K. Gopal and Mrs. Rajitha, have exhausted all their resources. Mr. Gopal, a private car driver from Nizamabad District, Telangana, has limited earnings, and his family belongs to a BPL (Below Poverty Line) background. They have done everything within their power to gather funds for their son’s treatment.
Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Banjara Hills Road-2, Hyderabad, has recommended this emergency medical case to our Child Vikas Foundation due to the family's financial struggles. We earnestly request your support to fund Master K. Srinath’s treatment and help save his life
Kindly also share this with your family and friends and help them to reach the goal. We will be grateful for your help!
