We are reaching out to you today with an urgent appeal for support. Three-year-eleven-month-old Likitha, daughter of Vatupalli Gopi and Srilatha from Singaraykonda, Andhra Pradesh, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (blood cancer). She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Vijayawada (UHID No. CUV-00169934) as per the ICICLE Protocol.
Likitha's treatment involves an intensive induction phase lasting six months, followed by a two-year maintenance phase. The estimated cost for the intensive phase, including chemotherapy, hospitalization, investigations, and supportive care such as IV antibiotics, IV anti-fungals, and nutritional support, is approximately Rs. 12-14 lakhs. Additionally, the estimated cost for blood products throughout the full course of treatment is around Rs. 15 lakhs, a figure that could increase due to unforeseen complications. Likitha is currently in the interim maintenance phase of her treatment.
Likitha's parents are desperately seeking financial assistance to save their daughter's life. Her father, a fisherman, is unable to afford these significant medical expenses. Rainbow Children’s Hospital Vijayawada has referred this emergency medical case to the Child Vikas Foundation due to the family's severe financial struggles.
We, at the Child Vikas Foundation, appeal to your kindness and generosity. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring Likitha closer to a healthy future and give this brave fighter a chance to survive and grow.
Kindly also share this with your family and friends and help them to reach the goal. We will be grateful for your help!
