I am writing to you today to share the story of Master G. Varnith, an 11-month-old boy, son of Mr. Srinath (UHID no: VIH-00180699), who is currently admitted to Rainbow Children's Hospital in Hyderabad. Varnith has been diagnosed with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome, a rare genetic immunodeficiency that severely impairs his immune system.
The only curative option for this high-risk condition is a Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT). Unfortunately, none of Varnith's family members are a full HLA match, and there is no unrelated donor available. The medical team proposes proceeding with HSCT using his father as a 9/10 matched donor. This procedure, including chemotherapy, hospitalization, investigations, stem cell collection and transplant, along with essential supportive care, is estimated to cost between Rs. 19-20 Lakhs.
Varnith's father, Gaddam Srinath, is a private employee who has exhausted all of his savings and is unable to afford the treatment. Child Vikas Foundation is committed to helping families like Varnith's access the critical medical care they need.
We are reaching out to you, hoping that you will consider supporting Master G. Varnith's treatment. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in his life. Additionally, we would be grateful if you could share his story with your family and friends to help us reach our fundraising goal.
