This is regarding Nagaraj M Kanakatı, 10 yrs old male case of Beta thalassemia major underwent Matched Sibling donor stem cell transplantation on 17/08/2024.

Presently he is admitted with multiple times of loose stools and vomiting on day 85 (11.11.2024) of transplant. He has Graft vs host disease of the gut. He is being treated with multiple immunosuppressive medications including Methylprednisolone and Tacrolimus. He will require hospitalisation for at least 10 days for the management of the same.

In absence of any major complications total cost of treatment would be 2 Lakhs to 3 lakhs rupees
