We are reaching out to request your support for D. Yuvaraj (5322847), a 15-year-old boy currently receiving treatment in the Pediatric Medicine Unit – II.

Yuvaraj was initially admitted in September 2025 with fever, altered behavior, and abnormal movement of limbs. He was diagnosed with Acute Encephalitis Syndrome and received regular doses of Inj. Rituximab. He is presently readmitted due to a worsening of his condition, complicated by loose stools and infection. He is currently on IV antibiotics, and his treatment team indicates that he requires prolonged hospital care.

Yuvaraj's family consists of six members from Ananthpur, Andhra Pradesh. His father is a farmer and the primary source of income, supplementing his farming with seasonal daily wage work; his mother is a homemaker. The family has already spent over 2 lakh rupees on treatment at an outside hospital before shifting Yuvaraj to SJMCH for specialized care.

Given their low socio-economic background and continuous hospitalization, the family has exhausted its resources and has no other sources of income or support.
